Lake Otis to Dale Project Website
The East 40th Avenue Lake Otis to Dale Project is currently under construction.
Extension of 40th Avenue from Lake Otis Parkway to Piper Street and the upgrade of 40th Avenue from Piper Street to the east of Dale Street is scheduled to begin in mid-September. The project website will keep interested parties updated throughout the duration of the construction. The project is anticipated to be completed in late fall 2011. Work for the project will include:
- New roadway
- Retaining wall on the south side between Laurel Street and Folker Street
- Curb and gutter
- Piped storm drain system
- Traffic signal at Lake Otis Parkway
- Roundabout at Piper Street
- Street lighting
- Pedestrian facilities
- Landscaping
- And much more!
