Land Use

In addition to the Conceptual Plan, two land use documents will guide land use decisions and development for the Hatcher Pass project.

First is the Hatcher Pass Management Plan, Government Peak Sub-Unit. This plan was adopted in 1989 and covers all state-owned land within the project area. This plan is currently being revised in conjunction with the Hatcher Pass Special Land Use District.

Second is the Hatcher Pass Special Land Use District that is currently being developed. This document will guide land use decisions for Borough-owned land within the same geographic area.
